Privacy Notice
This page explains what Essbé Beauté collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
Nothing at all unless you choose to send it. This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and loads no analytics or social-media scripts. If you never fill in a form, we never learn you were here.
When you send a consultation request, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and whatever you write about your concern or the programme you are interested in. When you finish the quiz and ask for your result, we receive your email address and the answers you selected, so that we know what you were looking at.
The guided assistant in the corner of the site is different: whatever you type into it stays on your own device. It searches pages already published on this site and sends nothing anywhere.
Why we collect it
To answer you. A consultation request is used to arrange your consultation and to reply to your question — nothing else. Quiz answers are used so that our reply is about the thing you actually asked about.
We add you to our mailing list only if you tick the box asking us to. That box is never ticked for you, and leaving it alone has no effect on your request. If you do tick it, we record that you did, along with the date and the page you were on, because we have to be able to show that you asked for those emails. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe.
Who can see it
Dr. Guberman and the Essbé Beauté team. Form submissions are handled by Netlify, the service that hosts this website, and are stored on their servers outside Quebec — in the United States. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Consultation requests are kept as part of your patient record for the period required of a physician in Quebec. Mailing-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. [To confirm with the clinic: the retention period applied to enquiries from people who never become patients.]
What you can ask for
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, or to withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Write to bonjour@essbebeaute.com or call 514-416-1171 and we will respond within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Who is responsible

Medical information
Anything you tell us through this website is an enquiry, not a medical record, and this website is not a secure channel for clinical detail. Please do not send test results, images of a medical condition, or a detailed medical history through these forms — bring them to your consultation instead.
