Aesthetic breast and body surgery
Plastic surgery is a broad certification. Within it, Dr. Guberman’s practice concentrates on aesthetic breast surgery — augmentation, lift and reduction — and on body contouring after pregnancy or significant weight change, principally abdominoplasty and liposuction. Facial rejuvenation, through deep-plane facelift and eyelid surgery, forms the second pillar.
That concentration is deliberate. A surgeon who performs the same operations regularly develops a reliability of judgement that breadth does not produce: which candidates do well, which anatomy warns of a difficult result, and when the honest answer to a request is no.
Enhance, never alter
The stated aim of every operation is that the result should not read as surgical. Proportion is respected rather than overridden; the features that make a face recognisable are left recognisable. Patients are told what a procedure cannot do as clearly as what it can, and are turned away when the request would not serve them.
The second principle is that surgery alone does not determine the long-term result. Skin quality, inflammation and tissue health continue after the operation, which is why surgical planning at Essbé Beauté is paired with the clinic’s inflammation-first non-surgical care rather than treated as a separate business. It is the opposite of the corporate medispa model, where volume decides the recommendation.
Consultations are unhurried and conducted by the surgeon who will perform the operation, in English or French.
